How You Can Help
Who are we? - The all-volunteer Save Our Strays (SOS) group formed to help our county's local animal control shelter. Using Petfinder we hope to find homes for more animals before they are euthanized due to lack of space at the shelter.
We take photos of animals in the Kalamazoo Animal Services Shelter on Lake Street every week. It takes a couple of hours per photo session on Wednesday evening. These photos, along with information about each animal, are loaded onto the Petfinder web site. This saves the lives of many cats and dogs.
We are a very small group and need help with the photo taking. No experience or camera required. Must be over 18 years of age. Please email to the following address if you can help us. Thank you.
